Chris Hooker

As a native of Orange County California, I grew up in the home of the plein air movement. I remember, as a little girl, painting at the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts. Art has always been an integral part of my life. I love color and complexity of composition or technique. I constantly pursue classic training for my art. As an artist, I strive to draw my viewer into my paintings and to evoke an emotional, heartfelt response to my work.
